Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology in Medical Education Service. Category No: 02/2021. Vacancies: 09 (Nine). Scale of Pay: As per UGC Norms. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 21-04-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • DM/DNB in Medical Oncology • In the absence of the above, MD/DNB in General Medicine/Radio Therapy/Paediatrics with two years special training in Medical Oncology Technical Qualifications: • Registration with Travancore Cochin Medical Council/Medical Council of India Experience Required: Three years teaching experience in the department of Medical Oncology as Resident in a recognized Medical College; One year teaching experience after acquiring Post Graduate Degree. In the absence of candidates possessing one year teaching experience as Senior Resident, those who do not possess senior residency, but possess all the other qualifications prescribed for the post shall also be considered. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Government Order at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must serve four years during the first ten years of service (including training) under defence service or services connected with defence, if required (exemptions apply for differently abled and those above 45 years). General conditions as per Part II of the Gazette Notification apply, including rules regarding photo, ID card, and disciplinary actions for bogus claims.
