Age Limit
18-26; only candidates born between 02.01.1991 and 01.01.1999 (Both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Communities. In the case of Ex-servicemen, the maximum age limit is 40 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: ā€¢ Pass in SSLC Examination or its equivalent Technical Qualifications: ā€¢ NTC in Radio/Television/Electronics/Telecommunication/ Electrical Engineering/Computer/Information Technology or equivalent approved by Government of Kerala or equivalent qualification prescribed in respect of Ex-Service personnel. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Height: 167 cms (160 cms for SC/ST). Chest: 81 cms (76 cms for SC/ST) with minimum expansion of 5 cms. Must possess specified visual standards (Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen for both eyes). Must be free from colour blindness, squint, morbid conditions, and defective speech/hearing. Must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the Physical Efficiency Test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II rule 10 (a) ii is applicable.
Notes
Candidates must register via One Time Registration. No application fee. Selected candidates undergo 9 months of training. Probation period of two years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Bond of Rs. 5,000/- to serve for a minimum of 5 years.
