Age Limit
18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation (maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years).
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Standard VII or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • ITI Trade Certificate in the trade of Plumber or equivalent. • OR Five Years Practical experience in plumbing in any recognised/ approved Engineering Firm. • In the absence of above, Work establishment service as Plumber in Water Works for not less than 5 years. Experience Required: Five Years Practical experience in plumbing in any recognised/ approved Engineering Firm or Work establishment service as Plumber in Water Works for not less than 5 years (alternative to ITI). Physical Standards: In view of the arduous and special nature of the duties and responsibilities attached to the post, only male candidates will be eligible for appointment to the post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of KS & SSR Part II is applicable for selection to this post.
Notes
Applications should be submitted to the district office concerned. Selection will be made on a revenue district basis subject to G.O. (Ms)No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Part II KS&SSR are applicable.
