Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: ā€¢ Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. ā€¢ Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. ā€¢ Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of Calicut University. ā€¢ Plus Two with Part III Arabic (Optional) course of Higher Secondary Board in Kerala. ā€¢ SSLC examination of Kerala Government with Arabic as First Language (Part I and II). ā€¢ SSLC or equivalent examination with Arabic as one of the languages. ā€¢ BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognized by Universities in Kerala (as per G.O.(MS) No. 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019). Technical Qualifications: ā€¢ Must have passed any one of the following: Arabic Munshi (Higher) exam, Arabic Munshi (Lower) exam, Arabic Teachers exam, or Arabic Entrance exam conducted by Kerala University or Calicut University. ā€¢ Must have passed Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET IV) for this post. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce the relevant Government Order at the time of OTR verification.
