Age Limit
For Muslim/Mappila, LC/AI, OBC Communities: 21-49 (born between 02/01/1968 and 01/01/1996); For Scheduled Tribe: 21-50 (born between 02/01/1967 and 01/01/1996). Includes relaxation as per Para 2(i) of General Conditions.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • MD (Community Medicine)/ MD (Social & Preventive Medicine)/DNB (Community Medicine) • In the absence of qualified candidates, MBBS Degree from a recognised University will be considered for appointment as LECTURER in the Scale of Pay 15600 – 39100 + AGP 5400/- Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council) Experience Required: None specified Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: DNB qualification must be acquired from a Medical College recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala. KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable.
Notes
Candidates must serve for four years during the first ten years of service under Defence Services if required (exempted for those above 45 years). Provisional registration not accepted. General conditions as per Part II of the notification apply.
