Age Limit
18 – 41 years. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included). Relaxation up to 50 years for eligible candidates.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • SSLC or equivalent qualification Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Height: 150 cm. Vision: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 Snellen for both eyes. Must have full field of vision. Must be free from color blindness, squint, and any morbid conditions of the eyes or lids. Must be free from knock-knee, flat foot, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed hands/limbs, irregular teeth, and defects in hearing/speech. Must pass 5 out of 8 items in the National Physical Efficiency Test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
Notes
Candidates must undergo probation for 2 years within a continuous period of 3 years. Must complete in-service training. Must pass the Kerala Jail Subordinate Officers Test within the probation period. Seniority list will be maintained at the state level.
