Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Senior Lecturer in General Medicine (In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, candidates with the following qualifications will be considered for appointment as LECTURER) in Medical Education. Category No: 146/2017. Vacancies: OX - 02 (Two). Scale of Pay: ₹ 15600 – 39100 + AGP ₹ 7000/- (For Lecturer: ₹ 15600 – 39100 + AGP ₹ 5400/-). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment from candidates belonging to OX community only. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-07-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

21-49. Only candidates born between 02/01/1968 and 01/01/1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post (including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Members belonging to SC who had converted to Christianity after attaining adulthood and their children are eligible for age relaxation up to 50 years (born between 02.01.1967 and 01.01.1996). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • MD (General Medicine)/ DNB (General Medicine) • MBBS Degree from a recognised University (for Lecturer in the absence of Senior Lecturer) Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council) Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. DNB qualification must be acquired from a Medical College, which is recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala.

Direct Recruitment from candidates belonging to OX community only
General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted by candidates other than the specified community will be rejected. Those appointed should serve for four (4) years during the first ten (10) years of their service anywhere in India or abroad under Defence Services if required (exempted if completed 45 years of age).
