Educational Qualifications: • Mch (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery)/ M.ch/DNB (plastic Surgery) • In the absence of above: MS General Surgery • For Lecturer post: MBBS Degree from a recognised University Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council) Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. DNB qualification must be acquired from a Medical College, which is recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala.

Candidates must follow Part II of the General Conditions. Those appointed must serve for four years during the first ten years of service under Defence Services if required (exempted for those over 45 years). Provisional registration is not accepted.
