Age Limit
20-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1997 (both dates included) are eligible to apply, including relaxation as per para 2 of the General conditions.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. Technical Qualifications: • B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teachers conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: Not specified, but teachers with 10 years of approved teaching service at the High School level in the General Education subordinate service are exempted from SET. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. In the absence of B.Ed degree holders, candidates having Masters Degree with not less than 50% marks and who have passed SET will be considered, subject to acquiring B.Ed within five years.
Notes
Applications are invited from SC/ST candidates for NCA vacancies. Applications from other communities will be rejected. Candidates must register via One Time Registration. Admission tickets for exams will be available in the profile. Aadhar card should be included as ID proof.
