19-36. Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST and Other Backward Communities.

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC or equivalent qualification Technical Qualifications: • Certificate in Electrical Engineering after 2 years course of study from an institution recognized by the Government of Kerala. • OR • National Trade Certificate in the trade of Electrician obtained after successful completion of 18 months course and 6 months in-plant training under the Craftsmen Training Scheme in Industrial Training Institute. • OR • KGTE or MGTE Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Lower) covering all the 4 subjects viz, Light and Power (Higher), Applied Mechanics (Lower), Heat Engines (Lower) and Machine Drawing (Lower) with 2 years experience in any Electrical Undertaking. Experience Required: 2 years experience in any Electrical Undertaking (applicable for KGTE/MGTE holders). Practical experience acquired after obtaining the basic qualification from Government/Public Sector/Registered Private Sector is essential. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.

The rules and regulations regarding general conditions (Part II KS&SSR, probation, etc.) are applicable as per Kerala PSC norms.
