18-36; [Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates. 1. First or Second Class MSc in Chemistry from any recognised University 2. Minimum experience of three years in the field of conservation of Archival records 3. Two years research experience in Chemistry from a Government recognised institution. Preferential :- Certificate course in conservation of records conducted by the National Archives of India

Note 1 : The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will also be advised from the said list against the vacancies that may be reported to the Commission during the period of the currency of the list. Note 2 : (a) Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. (b) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in case where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. (c) The Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by the Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the condition laid down in G.O.(M.S)No.526/PD dated 17/07/1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services. (d) The Master's Degree prescribed as a Qualification for the post should be obtained from a University recognised by University Grants Commission and also the courses therein shall be approved by any of the Universities in Kerala.
