Age limit

35 – 46. Only candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.1982 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation applies to SC/ST and OBC candidates, subject to a maximum upper age limit of 50 years. For candidates already in the department, the upper age limit is 50 years. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Agricultural Science of a recognised University or Institution. • A Doctorate in Agricultural Economics of a recognised University or Institution OR A Second Class Masters Degree in Agricultural Economics of a recognised University or Institution. Experience Required: For Doctorate holders: 2 years experience in Agricultural Planning, Project Formulation, Appraisal and Evaluation. For Second Class Masters Degree holders: 5 years experience in Agricultural Planning, Project Formulation, Appraisal and Evaluation. Note: Experience must be acquired after the academic qualification. Candidates belonging to SC/ST need not possess the experience qualification. Only a pass in Masters Degree is necessary for candidates already in the department. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Probation period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Rules of reservation (General Rules 14 to 17 of Part II of KS & SSR 1958) are not applicable to this post. Candidates must upload a photograph taken after 31.12.2010 with name and date printed at the bottom.
