Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Assistant (Arabic) in Education. Category No: 19/2017 & 20/2017. Vacancies: District wise: Cat. 19/2017 (SC): Thiruvananthapuram (1), Palakkad (1), Malappuram (1); Cat. 20/2017 (ST): Kannur (1). Scale of Pay: 29,200-62,400/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe communities only). In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community will be considered and vice versa.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-03-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-45. Only candidates born between 2.1.1972 and 1.1.1999 (both dates included) are eligible. Upper age limit after relaxation should not exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic (or Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III) and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Post Graduates in Arabic are also eligible to apply if they possess B.Ed/B.T/L.T. B.Ed should be in the concerned language. Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable to this post.

General conditions from the notification

Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Candidates must follow Part II KS&SSR general conditions.
