Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Doctorate in Economics/Sociology of a recognised University or Institution • A First Class or High Second Class Masters Degree in Economics/Sociology from a recognised University or Institution Technical Qualifications: • Desirable: Experience in application of research techniques to Socio Economic problems • Desirable: Published work in the field of Socio Economic Problems preferably with reference to Kerala Experience Required: For Doctorate holders: 4 years experience in analysis of Socio-Economic planning problems preferably in the fields of Socio Welfare/Education/Health. For Masters Degree holders: 7 years experience in analysis of Socio-Economic planning problems preferably in the fields of Social Welfare/Education/Health. Experience must be acquired after the acquisition of the academic qualification. SC/ST candidates are exempt from experience requirements. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Probation period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Rules of reservation (General Rules 14 to 17 of Part II of KS & SSR 1958) are not applicable to this post.
