Recruitment by transfer from among the employees who have completed the prescribed service and are working as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/Binder in General Education Department.

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Malayalam or Graduation with Malayalam as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III and B.Ed/BT/LT conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Malayalam awarded by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Post Graduates in Malayalam are also eligible to apply for the post provided they have B.Ed/B.T/L.T qualification. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/Binder in the General Education Department with not less than 5 years as on the date of application. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) will be applicable for the post. Qualifications declared by the Government as equivalent qualifications through Executive/Standing Orders and higher qualifications with prescribed qualification as basic qualification will be accepted.
