Age Limit
18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible. (For upper age relaxation details, refer to the notification).
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special optional) of the University of Calicut. • OR Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. • OR SSLC Examination of the Government of Kerala with First Language (First Paper and Second Paper) Arabic. • OR SSLC Examination or its equivalent and possessing any of the following qualifications: 1) Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination, 2) Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination, 3) Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) Entrance Examination of the University of Kerala or Calicut. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET-IV) for this post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a)(ii) is applicable.
Notes
The selection to the post will be subject to the rules published in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Candidates appointed through district-wise rank list shall not be transferred to another district for 5 years from the date of commencement of service.
