20-45, Only candidates born between 02.01.1968 and 01.01.1993 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post [Including relaxation in Para 2(1) of the General Conditions]

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in Mathematics with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala. • B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any University in Kerala (or alternative B.Ed provisions specified in rules / M.Sc.Ed from NCERT Regional Institute of Education with not less than 50% marks). • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teachers conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: As per KS&SSR or recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala.

Notes

The Ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancies earmarked to the above reservation category but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the ranked list published for post on 24.07.2012. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to other than the community mentioned in this notification will be summarily rejected.
