Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Junior Public Health Nurse Gr-II in Health Services/Municipal Common Service. Category No: 25/2017 to 28/2017. Vacancies: Districtwise: Malappuram - Muslim (10), Viswakarma (02), Dheevara (01), H. Nadar (01). Scale of Pay: 22,200-48,000/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Muslim, Viswakarma, Dheevara & Hindu Nadar communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-03-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-44 (Only candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible to apply). Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years including relaxations. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in SSLC or its equivalent qualification Technical Qualifications: • Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate (Revised Course of 18 months duration) issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council • OR Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate/Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate (Revised Course) issued by an Authority recognized by the Indian Nursing Council • OR Health Workers Training Certificate issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council • Registration with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: In the absence of candidates possessing the General qualification (SSLC pass), candidates who have completed SSLC Course (SSLC failed Candidates) will also be considered.

General conditions from the notification

Selection is on a Revenue District basis. Candidates advised in one district are not eligible for transfer to another district until 5 years of continuous service. Candidates already in Government service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again.
