Age Limit
19-36. Candidates born between 2.1.1978 and 1.1.1995 (both dates included) only eligible to apply. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Minimum height 152 cms (150 cms for SC/ST). Must possess specified visual standards (Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen for both eyes; Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen for both eyes) without glasses. Must be free from physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Foot, Varicose vein, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, Defective speech and hearing. Must pass Physical Efficiency test (qualify in any five out of eight events). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: As per KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii)
Notes
Selection on revenue district basis. Candidates advised for appointment in one district are not eligible for transfer to another district unless they complete 5 years continuous service. Physically handicapped persons are not eligible. NCC Cadets having A, B & C Certificates will be given weightage marks.
