20 - 45. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Relaxation up to 50 years for qualified candidates within the age limit, but in no case shall it exceed 50 years.

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto. • B.Ed Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the University in Kerala. • MSc.Ed in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any Regional Institute of Education (RIE) sponsored by NCERT. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates with M.Ed in the concerned subject recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala are exempted from the B.Ed qualification.

Part II of KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates must be from the Scheduled Tribe category. Appointments will be made from the ranked list prepared as per this notification. Probation period and other service conditions as per Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules.
