Age Limit
20-45. Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included). Usual age relaxations are applicable.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto. Technical Qualifications: • 1. B.Ed. in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala. • 2. In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree, B.Ed. Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • 3. In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree specified in items 1 and 2, B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala. • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the Agency authorized by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency certificate/Government order to prove equivalency of qualification shall be produced at the time of certificate verification.
Notes
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than the notified reserved community will be summarily rejected. Individual rejection memos will not be issued.
