22-45, Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Communities. I. MD/DNB in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation OR MS/MD/DNB 1.General Medicine with Diploma in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2.General Surgery 3.Orthopaedics with Three Year Special Training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in a teaching Institution /Centre of Excellence with dedicated service in the Speciality. II. One Year Experience as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a NMC recognized Medical College after acquiring Post Graduate Degree. III. Permanent Registration under Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC)/Council for Modern Medicine.

Note I : The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked list published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised from the said list against the vacancy noted above and also against the vacancies if any reported to the Commission during the currency of the list. Note II : 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified vide GO (P) No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. (a)Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. (b)In addition to the qualifications prescribed in this notification, the qualifications recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post ,shall also be sufficient for the post. Government orders regarding the equivalent qualification/Higher qualification should be presented as and when called for the same by the Commission. (c)Those who are appointed in the post should serve for Four (4) years during the first Ten (10) years of their service (including the period of training) anywhere in India or any other foreign country under Defence Services connected with defence,if required. Differently abled candidates and those who have completed 45 years of age are exempted from the above compulsory Military Service.
