Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS) in the concerned subject from a recognized university or DNB in the concerned subject. Technical Qualifications: • Three years of teaching experience or other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. • Permanent registration with the State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council). Experience Required: Three years of teaching experience. Residency period for PG degree is considered as teaching experience. If residency is not part of the PG course, a certificate from the college principal regarding teaching/clinical experience during the PG period is required. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce the Government Order/Equivalency Certificate at the time of verification.

General conditions from the notification
Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates must perform mandatory service of 4 years in the Defense Service or defense-related jobs in India or abroad within the first 10 years of service. This is not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age or those in the differently-abled category.
