Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Graduation Technical Qualifications: • Military Training, Membership of NCC, Sports etc will be considered as additional qualification. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Height: 150 cm. Candidates must be physically fit and possess specified visual standards (Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen for both eyes; Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen for both eyes). Must be free from physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Feet, Varicose veins, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Must qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test (5 out of 8 events). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications must produce the relevant government order at the time of verification.

Notes

Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile. Failure to submit confirmation will lead to rejection. Disciplinary action will be taken for bogus claims. Training of 1 year in Police Training College and 10.5 months practical training in the district. Probation period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
