Only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Ministerial staff of the General Education Department are allowed upper age relaxation up to 43 (Forty Three) years as on 01.01.2023 for direct recruitment to the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher [GO(P) No. 36/2005/Gl.Edn. Dated 04.02.2005]

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology in the concerned subject/Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Software Engineering from a recognized University/Institution with not less than 50% marks. • OR Master's Degree in Computer Application/Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized University with not less than 50% marks. • OR B.Tech/B.E. Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology from a recognized University with not less than 50% marks. • OR Degree in any branch with not less than 50% marks and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Science and Technology or Institute of Human Resources Development or Department of Electronics at 'A' Level Accreditation. • OR Master's Degree in Mathematics/Physics with not less than 50% marks and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Science and Technology or Institute of Human Resources Development or Department of Electronics at 'A' Level Accreditation. • OR M.Tech Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication/Electronics Engineering with not less than 50% marks from a recognized University. • OR B.Sc Degree in Computer Science with not less than 50% marks and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University or Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre for Science and Technology or Institute of Human Resources Development or Department of Electronics at 'A' Level Accreditation. • OR Master's Degree in Statistics with not less than 50% marks and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized University. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Bona fide equivalent qualifications must be proven with Government orders during certificate verification.
