Age Limit
For By Transfer: Must have completed 18 years as on 01.01.2023 (Upper age limit not applicable). For Direct Recruitment: 18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation applies for OBC, SC/ST candidates.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • SSLC • Diploma in Library Science or Certificate in Library Science recognised by Government • Degree in any subject with Degree in Library and Information Science (for Direct Recruitment) Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Qualifications recognised by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to the qualification specified in the special rules shall be sufficient.
Notes
Candidates must follow Part II General Conditions. Applications not in accordance with terms are liable to be rejected. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure for bogus claims.
