Age Limit
19 - 41. Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, upper age limit is relaxed up to 50 years, but in no case shall exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering obtained from the Kerala Agricultural University. Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate (NTC) in any of the following trades obtained from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI): (a) Mechanic (Tractor), (b) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), (c) Diesel Mechanic, (d) Fitter • Practical experience for not less than one year in the concerned trade, obtained after acquiring the ITI Trade Certificate. A practical test will be conducted by Kerala PSC to assess proficiency. • Candidates must possess a valid Tractor Driving Licence throughout all stages of selection. Experience Required: One year practical experience in the concerned trade after acquiring ITI certificate (applicable if holding ITI qualification). Physical Standards: Must possess physical fitness and standard vision as prescribed (Medical certificate from an Assistant Surgeon and vision certificate from an Ophthalmologist in Government Service required). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency certificate/Government order must be produced during verification if claiming equivalent qualification.
Notes
The selection to the post will be subject to special rules dated 27.05.1971 and subsequent government orders regarding inter-district transfer restrictions. Part II KS&SSR rules 2, 3, and 25 (except Rule 3(c) of Part II) are not applicable.
