Scale of Pay: 25200-54000/- (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From among the respective reserved communities only). Age limit

18-43. For SC/ST/SCCC/Dheevara candidates: 02.01.1978 to 01.01.2003 (both dates included). For converts to Christianity from SC and their children: 18-45 (02.01.1976 to 01.01.2003). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic from a recognized university in Kerala or equivalent • Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic from a recognized university in Kerala or equivalent • Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) from Calicut University • Plus Two with Part III Arabic (Optional) from Kerala Higher Secondary Board • SSLC with Arabic as First Language (Part I & II) from Kerala Commissioner for Government Examinations • SSLC or equivalent with Arabic Munshi (Higher/Lower) exam, Arabic Teachers exam, or Arabic Entrance exam from Kerala/Calicut University • BA Arabic & Islamic History Double Main degree Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency orders must be produced at the time of verification.
