Age Limit
20-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.02.2002 (both dates included) are eligible. (In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. However, in no case, the age shall exceed 50 (Fifty) years).
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto. • Regular B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject acquired from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto. Technical Qualifications: • Pass in State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by any agency authorized by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency certificates/Government orders shall be produced during verification if claimed.

The rules and regulations regarding general conditions (Part II KS&SSR, probation, etc.) are applicable as per the notification.
