Age Limit
18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Communities.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship awarded by the Industrial Training Centres of the Government of Kerala. (Two year course with training) • OR National Trade Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship with training awarded by the National Council for Vocational training (NCVT) New Delhi or its equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • Proficiency in Computer drafting in AutoCAD level 1 & 2 or in any similar Architectural CAD software notified as equivalent by the Government of Kerala from time to time. Experience Required: One year computer aided building drafting experience under a Registered Architect or any Registered Civil Engineering Firm. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
Notes
Every person appointed to this post shall, from the date on which joins duty, be on probation for a total period of two years of duty within a continuous period of three years.
