Age Limit
19-41. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). Relaxation up to 50 years for qualified candidates in the lower age limit, but in no case shall it exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering from Kerala Agricultural University Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in any of the following trades from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI): (a) Mechanic (Tractor), (b) Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), (c) Mechanic (Diesel), (d) Fitter • Practical experience of not less than one year in the relevant trade, obtained after acquiring the ITI Trade Certificate • Valid Tractor Driving License Experience Required: Practical experience of not less than one year in the relevant trade, obtained after acquiring the ITI Trade Certificate. Physical Standards: Must be physically fit for the post. Medical certificate regarding physical fitness and vision standards from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon and an Ophthalmologist in Government Service respectively is required. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Higher qualifications in the same stream are accepted if they are recognized by Government orders as equivalent to the prescribed qualification.
