Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Assistant (Arabic) in Education. Category No: 511/2016 & 512/2016. Vacancies: District wise: Cat.No.511/2016 Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava - Alappuzha 01(one); Cat.No.512/2016 Scheduled Caste - Ernakulam 01(one), Kozhikode 01(one). Scale of Pay: 29,200-62,400/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava & Scheduled Caste communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-02-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava: 18-43 (born between 02-01-1973 and 01-01-1998); Scheduled Caste: 18-45 (born between 02-01-1971 and 01-01-1998). Includes relaxation as per para 2(i) of General Conditions. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic or Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • Post Graduates in Arabic are also eligible to apply if they possess B.Ed/B.T/L.T Technical Qualifications: • B.Ed should be in the concerned language Arabic Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. Disciplines in which BA/MA and B.Ed degree were obtained should be mentioned in the application. Candidates who secured degrees from Universities outside Kerala should note the number and date of relevant order recognizing the degree.

General conditions from the notification

Selection on revenue district basis. Candidates advised in one district are not eligible for transfer for 5 years. Candidates already in Government service holding this post are prohibited from applying. Upper age limit after all relaxations should not exceed 50 years.
