Age Limit
SC: 18-44 (Born between 2.1.1970 and 1.1.1996). Dheevara, Hindu Nadar: 18-42 (Born between 2.1.1972 and 1.1.1996). Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: ā€¢ A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum. Technical Qualifications: ā€¢ Must possess valid Driving Licence of three years standing to drive Light Motor Vehicle with Driver's badge. ā€¢ Proficiency in Driving light Motor Vehicles which is to be proved in a practical test conducted by KPSC during the course of selection. Only those who pass 'H' test are eligible for Road Test. Experience Required: Valid Driving Licence of three years standing Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Ear - Hearing should be perfect; Eye - Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen, Colour Vision Normal, Night blindness Nil; Muscles and joints - No paralysis, all joints must be capable of free movement; Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.

The selection in pursuance of the notification will be made on a Revenue District basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971 and G.O.(MS) No. 4/61/PD dated 02.01.1961.
