Age Limit
Muslim: 21-42 (born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.1999); Scheduled Caste: 21-44 (born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1999). Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: ā€¢ Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: ā€¢ Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle ā€¢ Must possess valid Driving Licence and badge throughout all stages of selection process Experience Required: Three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen (both eyes), Near vision 0.5 Snellen (both eyes), Colour Vision Normal, Night blindness Nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Those who claim equivalent qualification shall produce the respective Government Order.
Notes
Probation period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates must be prepared to clean and oil the Motor Vehicles. Selected candidates must be able to drive Light Duty Vehicles also. Differently abled candidates are not eligible.
