Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Or a Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Or Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the University of Calicut. • Or Plus Two Part III Arabic (Optional) course of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala. • Or SSLC with Arabic as First Language (First Language-Part I and Part II) under the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Or SSLC or its equivalent and must have any of the following additional qualifications: (1) Arabic Munshi (Higher) Examination, (2) Arabic Munshi (Lower) Examination, (3) Arabic Teachers Examination, (4) Preliminary Entrance Examination in Arabic conducted by the Universities of Kerala or Calicut. Technical Qualifications: • Pass in Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency orders and BA Arabic & Islamic History Double Main degree recognized by Universities in Kerala as per G.O.(P) No.8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019 are applicable.
