Age Limit
18-39. Only candidates born between 2.1.1978 and 1.1.1999 (both dates included) are eligible. Adult members belonging to Scheduled Caste who converted to Christianity and children of such parents: 2.1.1976 to 1.1.1999. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Pre-Degree or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks or B grade in science subject (Relaxation of 10% marks for SC/ST and 5% for SEBC). • S.S.L.C or equivalent for Ex-servicemen who have passed Class I Blood Transfusion Assistant Test and have put in not less than 15 years service in the Armed Forces. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in one year Medical Laboratory Technician's Training Course conducted by the Medical Colleges in Kerala or by the Public Health Laboratory, Thiruvananthapuram or any qualification equivalent thereto. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: In the case of persons who have completed Degree course in Science, 'B' Grade in Pre-degree examination will not be insisted.
Notes
Selection is on a Revenue District basis. Candidates advised for appointment are not eligible for transfer to another district for five years. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any district are prohibited from applying. Admission tickets for tests will be available in the OTR profile.
