Age Limit
Category - I [Open Market]: 20-31. Only candidates born between 02.01.1992 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible with usual relaxation to SC, ST and OBC. Category - II [Constabulary]: 20-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Must be a Graduate. • In the case of SC/ST candidates, if sufficient number of fully qualified candidates are not available, applications of those who have passed Pre-University/Pre-Degree or equivalent Examination shall be considered only to fill up the quota reserved for them under Category (I). Physical Standards: Must be Physically Fit. Height: 167 cm (160 cm for SC/ST). Chest: 81 cm with minimum expansion of 5 cm (76 cm with 5 cm expansion for SC/ST). Vision: Distant vision 6/6 snellen (left & right eye), Near vision 0.5 snellen (left & right eye). Full field of vision, free from colour blindness, squint, or morbid conditions, and free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat feet, varicose veins, etc. Must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items of National Physical Efficiency One Star Standards Test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders as equivalent or higher shall be considered.
