Assistant Marine Surveyor — TWELFTH NCA NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited online only from qualified candidates of Scheduled Caste community of State of Kerala for appointment in the undermentioned post in Kerala Government Service. This is the twelfth NCA notification due to the paucity of candidates belonging to the above community for the post as per notification dated 16.11.2004 (Cat.No.222/2004) and consecutive NCA notification dtd 31.07.2007 (Cat.No.254/2007), 10.04.2008 (Cat.No.171/2008), 29.05.2009 (Cat.No.186/2009), 30.10.2010 (Cat.No.296/2010), 10.09.2014 (Cat.No.397/2014), 10.09.2015 (Cat.No.247/2015), 30.05.2017(Cat.No.164/2017), 15.10.2019 (Cat.No.162/2019), 15.12.2020 (Cat.No. 342/2020), 30.11.2021 (Cat.No572/2021) and 29.12.2023 (Cat No 603/2023)

Age Limit
18–41, (Only candidates born between 01.01.2007 and 02.01.1984 (both dates included) are eligible to apply: (including age relaxation in Part II in para 2(i) of the General Conditions). For other conditions regarding age relaxation, please see the General Conditions (except para 2(i) ) of para II o the gazette.
Qualifications
1. A pass in SSLC or its equivalent examination. 2. Must possess Survey Recorder Class I or II qualification of the Indian Naval Hydrographic Branch. G.O(P) No 5/2003/F&PD dt 25.01.2003 (SRO No 81/2003)
Notes
Note:- I) The candidates selected shall undergo training in the respective field for a required period. During the period of training they shall be entitled to full pay and allowances attached to the post. II) a. Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. b. In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. Probation: Every person appointed to the post shall from the date on which he/she joins duty be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. He/She shall during the period of probation, pass the Account Test for Executive Officers, unless he/she has not already passed the test.
