Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Ayah in Various. Category No: 59/2017 to 62/2017. Vacancies: District wise: L.C/A.I (Palakkad - 01), Muslim (Thrissur - 01), S.C (Ernakulam - 01), Ezhava (Ernakulam - 01). Scale of Pay: 16,500 – 35,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to L.C/A.I, Muslim, S.C and Ezhava communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 17-05-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-39 (Born between 02-01-1978 and 01-01-1999) for LC/AI, Muslim, and Ezhava. 18-41 (Born between 02-01-1976 and 01-01-1999) for Scheduled Caste. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Std. VII (New) or equivalent qualification Experience Required: Experience for not less than one year as 'Ayah' of children gained from a Government Institution or from any institution registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 or the Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act 1955. Experience must be gained after acquiring the General Educational Qualification. Physical Standards: The post of Ayah in all the Departments shall be reserved exclusively for women candidates. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable for selection to this post.

General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a Revenue District basis. Candidates advised for appointment are not eligible for transfer to another district until they complete five years of continuous service. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in the same department in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Refer to Part II of the Notification for detailed general conditions.
