18-40 Only candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2006 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply. SC/ST Candidates and Other Backward Communities are eligible for usual age relaxation. Note : For concessions allowed in upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification .

(1) A Bachelors Degree in English language and literature. (2) B.Ed/B.T/L.T with English as optional subject conferred or recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala. (3) Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET, Category III ) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: 8. Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D in the respective subjects / M.Ed. in any subject are exempted from acquiring KTET (G.O. (P) No. 145/ 16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16, G.O.(P)No.206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016 and G.O (P) No. 15/2020/ G.Edn dated 9.10.2020) 9. CTET (Primary Stage & Elementary Stage) qualification shall not be considered as an alternative qualification for KTET Cat. III (G.O(P)No.6/2024/G.Edn dated 01.02.2024) Note: (i) M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala. (ii) The candidates who have acquired BA .Ed Integrated Course (Social studies, English) awarded by the Regional Institute of Education in Mysore are also eligible to apply for the post.(G.O (Rt) No.2135/2019/G Edn dtd 04.06.2019) (iii) Post Graduates in English are also eligible to apply if they have B.Ed/B.T/L.T. (iv) B.Ed should also be in the concerned language viz. English. (v) The discipline in which B.A/M.A and B.Ed. Degree were obtained should be mentioned in the application form. (vi) KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) will be applicable for the post. (vii) In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission.

1. Candidates shall apply online only by One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in. Applications submitted in any other manner will summarily be rejected. 2. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district in pursuance of this notification. 3. Candidates should submit the application for this post to any one of the above mentioned districts and should note the name of the district against the relevant column of the online application. 4. The selection in pursuance of this notification will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to the special conditions laid down in G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated, 27.05.1971. 5. 4% of the total vacancies reported for the above post shall be reserved for eligible differently Abled candidates with disabilities as specified by GO(P)No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. 6. Special concessions regarding appointment and age limit are provided for wives of Jawans, Laboratory Attenders, First Class Scouts and Guides, and Teachers of Government Primary and Nursery Schools. 7. Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D Proof in their profile. 8. If written /OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidates shall submit a confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile.
