Age Limit
18-46. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included). Upper age relaxation up to 50 years in the absence of qualified candidates.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC or its equivalent. • Three year Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering obtained from a State Board of Technical Education or from any Central/State Government recognized Institution. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess current valid Driving Licence authorizing him to drive Motorcycle, Heavy Goods Vehicles, and Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles. Physical Standards: Height: Men - minimum 160 cm, Women - minimum 150 cm. Chest: Men - 81 cm with minimum 5 cm expansion. Vision Standards: Distant vision - 6/6 Snellen for both eyes, Near vision - 0.5 Snellen for both eyes. Must have full field of vision. Colour blindness, squint, or any morbid conditions of the eyes or lids are disqualifications. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Government orders regarding equivalent qualifications shall be produced when called for.
Notes
The rules and regulations regarding Part II KS&SSR are applicable except Rule 3(c) of Part II. Candidates must submit confirmation (Onetime registration profile) for writing the exam.
