Direct Recruitment (from among Scheduled Tribe candidates only. In the absence of Scheduled Tribe candidates, Scheduled Caste candidates will also be considered).
Age Limit
18-45. Candidates must have been born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Maximum upper age limit inclusive of other age relaxations shall not exceed 50 (fifty) years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Urdu conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR • Title of Oriental Learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (if such title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of a Degree) plus Language Teacher Training Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Examinations, Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency of qualifications must be proven by government orders produced at the time of verification.
Notes
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than the notified reserved community will be summarily rejected. District-wise selection and inter-district transfer rules apply as per government orders.
