Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among physically handicapped candidates belonging to Orthopaedic & deaf)

Age Limit

i) For Orthopaedically handicapped candidates: 18-46. Only candidates born between 02.01.1967 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. ii) For Deaf candidates: 18-50. Only candidates born between 02.01.1963 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed SSLC or equivalent Technical Qualifications: • Kerala Government Certificate Examination (2 years course) in Civil Engineering • Diploma in Craftsmanship in the Trade of Draftsman (Civil) obtained after 18 months course (followed by 6 months practical training) at the Industrial Training Institutes/Centres conducted by the Government of India, Ministry of Labour • Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 years course) in Womens Polytechnics Physical Standards: Selection to the above mentioned vacancies will be made from among the (orthopaedic & deaf) PH categories found suitable for the post as per existing Govt.Orders.

Notes

The Ranked list prepared in pursuance of this notification will remain in force for a maximum period of three years. Rule 14 to 17 of Part II KS&SSR are not applicable to this selection. For further details see the general conditions given in Part II.
