Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, OBC, SIUC-Nadar and Viswakarma communities only)

SC & ST: 18-45 (Born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2006); OBC, SIUC-Nadar & Viswakarma: 18-43 (Born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.2006). Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination with Arabic as an optional subject or as second language • A pass in Afzal-Al-Ulama Preliminary examination • A pass in the Pre Degree examination with Arabic as an optional subject • A pass in the SSLC examination from Arabic Oriental School or from academic school with Arabic as First Language conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala and a pass in Higher Secondary examination • A pass in Higher Secondary examination and a pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination and Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Arabic language conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A title of Oriental learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University • A pass in Plus two, Part III, Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II First Language • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent and any one of the following: (i) Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), (ii) Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), (iii) Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, (iv) Pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala and Calicut Universities Technical Qualifications: • A pass in the 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (Arabic), in short D.El.Ed (Arabic), examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognized by Universities in Kerala is also considered.

Candidates must be registered via One Time Registration. Applications not in accordance with general conditions will be rejected. Disciplinary action will be taken for bogus claims. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the exam if a test is conducted.
