Weaving Instructor/ Weaving Assistant/Weaving Foreman (Male only)

Anticipated vacancy Note:- Due to the non availability of Blind/Low Vision DA candidates as per Section 34(2) of The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016 in the previous rank list of this post, one vacancy is reserved for the above DA category.The same will be filled from above said category from the ranked list of this notification.In the absence of above said DA category in the rank list as per this notification, the same will be advised from other eligible DA categories as per Section 34(2) of above said Act. In the absence of DA candidates, it will be advised from General Category.

18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation (for other conditions regarding age relaxations please see Para 2 of the General conditions.)

1 A pass in SSLC or equivalent Examination 2 KGTE / MGTE (Higher) in Weaving OR Diploma in weaving issued by the Director of Industries and Commerce Kerala/ Director of Technical Education , Kerala OR Any other Equivalent qualification

Note :- Note : 4% of the total vacancies reported shall be reserved for eligible Differently Abled Candidates with disabilities as specified vide G.O.(P)No. 5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023. Probation : Candidates appointed by direct recruitment will be on probation for a period of two years within a continuous period of 3 years. 1 Rule 10 a(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. 2 In addition to the qualifications prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders, or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules or qualifications found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post. The copy of the Government orders declaring equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when required by the Commission. 3 The Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by the Parliament / State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the condition laid down in GO(Ms)No.526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services.
