Age Limit
18 - 44 i.e. only candidates born between 01.01.1996 and 02.01.1970 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Upper age limit relaxed up to 50 years in the absence of qualified candidates)
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Standard VII/III Forum. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Driving Licence of 3 (three) years standing to drive Light Motor Vehicle with Driver's Badge. • Proficiency in driving Light Motor Vehicles is to be proved in a practical test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection (includes H Test and Road Test). Experience Required: 3 years standing valid Driving Licence to drive Light Motor Vehicle with Driver's Badge Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Distant Vision 6/6 snellen, Near Vision 0.5 snellen, Colour vision Normal, Night blindness Nil. Muscle & Joints: No Paralysis, all joints with free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Each eye must have full field of vision. Physically Handicapped candidates are not eligible to apply. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable.
Notes
Every person appointed to the post shall, from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
