Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Technical Education (Engineering Colleges). Category No: 724/2021. Age limit

20-39. Candidates must have been born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation for SC/ST and Other Backward Classes will be allowed. Officers of Technical Education, Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Industries, Architecture and Town Planning departments are eligible for upper age relaxation up to the length of service rendered in those departments, subject to a maximum upper age limit of 50 years as on 01.01.2021. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in the appropriate branch of Engineering • First Class or equivalent grade in any one of the degrees (B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech) Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. Equivalency certificate from the government or concerned institution must be produced at the time of certificate verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates shall submit confirmation for writing examination through their One Time Registration profile. 3% of vacancies are reserved for differently abled candidates (Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Low Vision, Hearing Impairment). Probation: Must undergo probation for a period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Defence Service liability is applicable as per rules.
