Age Limit
18-43 (for Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, LC/AI, Viswakarma) or 18-45 (for Scheduled Caste). Born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004 (for 18-43) or 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004 (for 18-45). Maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years including relaxations.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II first Language. • A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent; and any one of the following qualifications: 1) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), 2) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), 3) A Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities. • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test-IV (K-TET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II KS & SSR will be applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification.
Notes
Candidates must follow Part II General Conditions. Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Disciplinary action will be taken for bogus claims. Confirmation for exam is mandatory if a test is conducted.
