Age Limit
18-50. Candidates born between 02-01-1964 and 01-01-1996 (both dates included). (Including Military Service) are eligible to apply. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Must be able to read and write Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada. Technical Qualifications: • Ability to ride bicycle is an essential qualification for male candidates for the post of Office Attendant, Chowkidar and Messenger (Physically Handicapped candidates and female candidates are exempted from this for the post of Office Attendant). Experience Required: Must be an Ex-servicemen (Territorial Army Personnel/GREF Personnel are not eligible to apply). Physical Standards: Physically handicapped candidates and female candidates are not eligible for appointment to the post of Watcher, Night Watcher, Watchman and Night Watchman. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
Notes
Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. No application fee is required. If Written/OMR test is conducted, admission tickets will be available on the website.
