Age Limit
18 – 43 (Ezhava/Tiyya/Billava: born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2004); 18 – 45 (Scheduled Caste: born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2004). Maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years including all relaxations.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first Language. • A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent; and any one of the following: A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher/Lower), A Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, or A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala/Calicut Universities. • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET-IV) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II KS & SSR is applicable. Exemptions for KTET apply for candidates with CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed as per specified G.O.s.
Notes
Candidates must follow Part II General Conditions. Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again.
